STORMZY CHALLENGES WILEY TO RADIO CLASH AFTER PAIR TRADE SHOTS ON TWITTER

The beef between the two artists appears to have started when Stormzy replied to a tweet from Wiley, writing: “This old crackhead tweets me every single day you are obsessed with me, what an embarrassment.”
“Ok how about this, @WileyUK I’ll clash you TONIGHT LIVE ON @RinseFM @1Xtra any station you want and bury you live for all the grime scene to see”, wrote Stormzy.
He added: “The Godfather of grime is a real big P***Y who gets into war, gets buried, ends up hating himself for trying it and then apologises.”
The new war of words from the two MCs comes just weeks after they released a series of diss tracks aimed at each other.

LIL WAYNE TEASES RETIREMENT WITH NEW ALBUM ‘FUNERAL’ FEATURING 2 CHAINZ, TAKEOFF & MORE

At 24 tracks long, Funeral is a generous offering and houses plenty of new music for fans to take in and enjoy.
Collaborations on this project include some of the biggest names in hip-hop and trap – Big Sean, Lil Baby, 2 Chainz, Takeoff and O.T. Genasis are among contributors to the project.
Noticeably absent on the project are artists from the Young Money camp which at its peak included Nicki Minaj, Drake and Tyga.
Wayne’s protege Lil Twist does make an appearance on the album though and hip-hop fans will remember Lil Twist as one of the youngers attached to the Young Money crew.
Known for his versatile sound, the project effortlessly moves between genres. We hear R&B on some tracks, hip-hop on others and even country. “Trust Nobody” features Adam Levine and is clearly inspired by Wayne’s Southern upbringing.

JUICE WRLD’S CAUSE OF DEATH HAS BEEN CONFIRMED

On Wednesday, the Cook County Medical Examiner ruled that the young talent died of an accidental overdose of codeine and oxycodone.
Juice WRLD – whose legal name was Jarad Higgins – died on December 8th at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
After experiencing cardiac arrest-like symptoms when he touched down at Chicago’s Midway Airport following a flight from Los Angeles, the star was rushed to the hospital. Shortly after stepping off the private jet, he passed away just day’s after celebrating his 21st birthday.
In the days following Juice WRLD’s death, fans and friends of the rapper packed Chicago’s Millennium Park to pay tribute to him.
Last month, his mother Carmella Wallace said that she hoped his death would help to raise awareness of addiction. Speaking candidly, she said: “Addiction knows no boundaries and its impact goes way beyond the person fighting it.
“Jarad was a son, brother, grandson, friend and so much more to so many people who wanted more than anything to see him defeat addiction.” She added: “We hope the conversations he started in his music and his legacy will help others win their battles as that is what he wanted more than anything.”

STORMZY SET TO END BBC’S CHRISTMAS DAY WITH BIBLE READING

Although the London-born rapper may not be the obvious choice for this set up, he often uses religious references in his music and he openly thanks God in response to his success. Another factor that comes into play is that he is often praised on his public image and media involvement – making him a great choice.
Stormzy will conduct a reading on a passage from The Gospel Of Luke, this shares the story of the arrival of angels to shepherds and signifies the birth of Christ. Following this reading, there will be a performance of The Basque Carol Sing Lullaby performed by The South London Boys Choir Libera. A very fitting choir choice, as it shares locational significance to the rapper.
The reading will air at 11:50pm on Christmas day and will be viewable on BBC One.
